15 And the altar hearth was four cubits,[a] and from the altar hearth and upwards[b] were the four horns of the altar. 16 And the altar hearth was twelve[c] cubits in length and twelve[d] cubits in width[e]; it was squared on its four sides.[f] 17 And the ledge was fourteen[g] cubits in length with fourteen[h] cubits its width[i] to all four of its sides, and a rim was all around it of one-half cubit.[j] And the gutter[k] for it was a cubit[l] all around, and its steps were facing east.”
